Preparation & Use
It is important to clean feeders regularly. Remove uneaten and wet food and clean using a mild safe disinfectant, rinsing thoroughly with water. We would also advise moving feeders to different areas of the garden as this will all help avoid the build-up of bacteria and disease. Always wash your hands after contact with feeders and bird food. Only put out enough for two days to prevent wasted, uneaten food. Once filled, place feeders in a few different spots to avoid overcrowding. Place your feeders in open spaces, clear of potential predators. Feed all year round and make sure the birds have access to clean water for bathing and drinking.
